JESUS himself revealed the Chaplet of the DIVINE MERCY to Sr Faustina and asked her to pray the Chaplet unceasingly. JESUS told her: Say unceasingly the chaplet that I have taught you. Whoever will recite it will receive great mercy at the hour of death.
The Chaplet of DIVINE MERCY is one of the most powerful prayers we could possibly pray. JESUS told Sr Fausitna: Even if there were a sinner most hardened, if he were to recite this chaplet only once, he would receive grace from My infinite mercy.
JESUS also told her:
One of the most important messages and powerful gifts Jesus gave to St. Faustina, and so also to us, is a very special prayer: The Divine Mercy Chaplet.
“Say unceasingly the chaplet that I have taught you. Whoever will recite it will receive great mercy at the hour of death. Priests will recommend it to sinners as their last hope of salvation. Even if there were a sinner most hardened, if he were to recite this chaplet only once, he would receive grace from My infinite mercy. I desire that the whole world know My infinite mercy. I desire to grant unimaginable graces to those souls who trust in My mercy." (Diary of Sister Faustina, Note number 687)
“Speak to the world about My mercy; let all mankind recognize My unfathomable mercy. It is a sign for the end times; after it will come the day of justice. While there is still time, let them have recourse to the fount of My mercy; let them profit from the Blood and Water which gushed forth for them.”
Become a part of that great multitude in the world today- Praising God for His great and abundant mercy! God is wooing us, longing for us, our trust, and our faith. Like a loved one in our lives, who just wants to be close, God wants us close to Him. Even if you do not know God, God knows you, and He loves you. Do not hesitate to respond to his love, He simply wants to pour out His mercy on you.
The Chaplet of the Divine Mercy is prayed on ordinary Rosary beads:
3 O'Clock Prayer
You expired Jesus, but the source of life gushed forth for souls and the ocean of Mercy, opened up for the whole world. O Fount of Life, O unfathomable Divine Mercy, envelop the whole world and empty Yourself out upon us.
O Blood and Water, which gushed from the Heart of Jesus, as a fountain for us, we trust in You. (3 times 'O Blood and Water)
The Lord's Prayer
Who art in heaven, Hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come, Thy Will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day, our daily bread,
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
Amen.
Hail Mary
Hail Mary full of Grace, the Lord is with thee.
Blessed are thou amongst women
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb Jesus.
Holy Mary Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death.
Amen
Apostle's Creed
I believe in God, the Father almighty,
Creator of heaven and earth.
I believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord.
He was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit
and born of the Virgin Mary.
He suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, died, and was buried.
He descended into the dead.
On the third day he rose again.
He ascended into heaven
and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
He will come again to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit,
the holy catholic Church,
the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body,
and the life everlasting.
Amen.
Eternal Father, I offer you the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of Your dearly beloved Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ in atonement for our sins and those of the whole world.
For the sake of His sorrowful Passion, have Mercy on us and on the whole world.
(Repeat with the remaining decades: 1 "Eternal Father..." & 10 "For the sake...")
(At the end of the 5 decades)
Holy God, Holy Mighty One, Holy Immortal One, have Mercy on us and on the whole world. (Repeat 3 times)
Eternal God, in whom Mercy is endless, and the treasury of compassion inexhaustible. Look kindly upon us and increase your Mercy in us, so that in difficult moments, we may not despair nor become despondent but with great confidence, submit ourselves to Your Holy Will, which is Love and Mercy itself. Amen.
SING THE CHAPLET OF DIVINE MERCY
EWTN Version 2 - 21.02 minutes
Dennis and Angelina Girard -14.29 minutes
Fr Rob Galea, Natasha Pinto, Gary Pinto - 16.13 minutes
Chaplet Recited - Dave and Joan Maroney - 9.55 mins
We pray for ourselves, to be transformed into a merciful person. And we especially pray for the sick and dying, souls in Purgatory and for the whole world.
"... My daughter, encourage souls to say the chaplet which I have given to you. It pleases Me to grant everything they ask of Me by saying the chaplet. When hardened sinners say it, I will fill their souls with peace, and the hour of their death will be a happy one. .... Write that when they say this chaplet in the presence of the dying, I will stand between My Father and the dying person, not as the just Judge but as the merciful Savior." (Diary of Sister Faustina, Note number 1541)
Few of us will find ourselves near the Blessed Sacrament everyday at 3 pm. However, many of us do have the opportunity to pray the Divine Mercy Chaplet at this time and most of us can take a moment, even just a few seconds, to reflect on Our Lord's sacrifice and His great Love and Mercy towards us.
